The Living Library

The Santa Rosa Junior College Day Under the Oaks event will host a unique opportunity from 12pm to 1pm on May 4th called the “Living Library.” The Living Library will be held in front of the Doyle Library.

This event invites experts in their professional fields to share a day in the life and act as a “living book.” Approximately ten professionals from a variety of disciplines will talk about what they do in their daily work lives, what education they needed, and any tips they have for those aspiring to obtain those careers.

Living books will include an ASL interpreter, dental hygienist, graphic artist, librarian, scientist and many more professionals.

Living books will be available for informal, one-on-one, and group interviews.
